The LAX Coastal Area Chamber of Commerce to Honor Locals

The annual City of Angels Awards Dinner promises to highlight contributions of local leaders.

This year marks the sixth annual City of Angels Awards Dinner sponsored by the LAX Coastal Area Chamber of Commerce.

The event is held every year to pay tribute to people from around the city.

"This is an event where we really want to honor people who have made a significant difference to Los Angeles," said Christina Davis, President and CEO of the LAX Coastal Area Chamber of Commerce. "We're always thrilled to be able to honor people who help shape the future of Los Angeles."

In addition, Emerson Community Gardens will receive the 2013 Spirit Leadership Award from Brookfield Residential/Playa Vista. Chamber of Commerce members who are celebrating anniversaries, from five up to 100 years in business, will also be recognized, according to Davis.
