Coachella 2013 Dates, Ticket Sales Announced

The Valley's major music festival will again be held over two weekends in mid-April, while advance tickets go on sale later this week.

Coachella will remain a two-weekend event in 2013, with advance tickets on sale this Thursday—one year ahead of the popular festival.  Goldenvoice announced Monday morning, just a month after this year's concert concluded, that the 2013 event will be held April 12 to 14, and again April 19 to 21. Advance tickets for both weekends will go on sale on the concert website. According to the site, this window for advance sales will only be open through Thursday, May 24, at 10 a.m. The sale will be the only time the new Coachella Purchase Plan will be offered, organizers said. "The price you see is what you pay—prices reflect all fees included," according to a statement on Coachella's Facebook page. The rest of the passes will go on sale early …

Fans are speculating after a hint was posted Friday on the festival's official website and Facebook page.

News on Coachella 2013 could be coming soon. Festival organizers posted a photo on the official website and Facebook page around 11 a.m. Friday that simply says "Monday 10 a.m. PDT." Both are accompanied by the message, "PSSSSST....... PASS IT ON." No other details have been provided. An email to Coachella organizers instructed to "Please check coachella.com on monday may 14th 10am pdt." and advised "Do NOT buy from a 3rd party/scalper." Followers of the festival are abuzz on Facebook, questioning whether this could be a pre-sale. Some are complaining that it's too soon for tickets to be available, while others say they're ready to shell out the cash. Star Wars Day: May the Fourth Be With You

Share your memories and love of "Star Wars"

Happy Star Wars Day! Why is today Star Wars Day? Because of some delightful wordplay: "May the Fourth be with you." Star Wars has embedded itself in our common culture the way few movies do. Even people who aren't big fans of the movies know the Imperial March music means something wicked this way comes. Big cinnamon rolls can make one think of Princess Leia.  Share your memories of that galaxy far, far away. Did you (or your parents) wait in line for hours to see the original? Did you and your friends turn broom handles or sticks into lightsabers and have your own epic battles? Or maybe it was using your bikes for landspeeder races. When you say, "I love you," does your spouse say, "I know?" If you've ever used Yoda-talk with someone, …
