Beach Shuttle Will Set Sail Just in Time for Summer

The free shuttle will primarily operate on weekends and holidays.

With summer fast approaching, the Marina del Rey Beach Shuttle promises to help locals take advantage of the dog days of summer.

The free shuttle kicks off this year on Friday, May 24.

It will travel from Marina del Rey to Playa del Rey and to the Venice Beach Pier.

The beach shuttle will also make stops at the Summer Concert Series in both Playa del Rey and Marina del Rey.

In addition, locals will be able to ride the beach shuttle to the Marina del Rey WaterBus which travels throughout the marina.

The shuttle is scheduled to operate from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays and holidays.
