From the Editor: A Time for Transition

Transitions. They pop up now and then and we've got another shift underway.

As of today, I'm stepping away as editor of Marina del Rey Patch to focus solely on the same role at Venice-Mar Vista Patch. We have guest editor Brooke Wirtschafter overseeing Marina del Rey Patch this month and new editor will start in early April. David is currently the editor of Millbrae Patch in northern California.

I'll still be around. I've got a few Marina del Rey Patch stories to wrap up and tie up, including Opening Day this weekend in the marina and the grand opening of the new Equinox gym March 27 at the Villa Marina Marketplace.

Personally, I'd like to thank all the readers, subscribers, freelancers, bloggers, photographers, tipsters, critics and commenters for your contributions to Marina del Rey Patch.

While I'm looking forward to focusing solely on Venice-Mar Vista Patch, I'll miss visiting the communities, meeting the people and overseeing the coverage of Marina del Rey, Playa del Rey and Del Rey. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on Marina del Rey Patch. I'm only one Patch over and we're still neighbors, so please keep in touch.
