A magnitude 3.1 earthquake was centered near Marina del Rey, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The earthquake struck about one mile Northwest of Marina del Rey at 11:48 a.m., the USGS reported.
Some nearby cities that felt the quake, according to the USGS Community Internet Intensity Map, are Beverly Hills, Culver City and Hermosa Beach.
