Minnie Needs a Home
Formerly homeless Minnie is protective, good with kids and a "very sweet, loyal girl," says Marina del Rey-based Forte Animal Rescue.
Meet Minnie!
Minnie is a very sweet, loyal girl who loves to give kisses and rub her face up against your leg. A 6-year-old German Shepherd and Labrador Retriever mix, Minnie weighs 49 pounds. She already is spayed, housetrained, up-to-date with shots and is not good with cats, but good with kids. She’s a big cuddle bug who would love to crawl under the covers with you at bedtime.
Minnie was living with her former guardian in a van when Forte Animal Rescue (FAR) took her in. Being homeless, her person could no longer care for her and asked FAR for help, but not before giving her AKC training, which means Minnie knows the commands sit, stay, off, down, kennel, and much more!

Being very loyal and a great protector, Minnie will bark when she senses disturbances around her house, but she is not a nuisance barker and only barks at things out of the ordinary. While she loves large male dogs, since she has spent too long in a kennel environment, it would be best if she could be the “only child.”
You can meet Minnie and other rescue animals by contacting FAR at (310) 362-0321 or by coming to FAR’s weekly Saturday adoptions at , 3860 S.
