Mother's Day in Marina del Rey

A few places to celebrate the holiday this weekend.

If you're looking for a special place to take your mother for brunch this Mother's Day, here are a few places that are aiming to please local moms this holiday:

1. Cafe del Rey
This restaurant with views of the harbor is offering a three-course meal for Mother's Day. The price-fixed brunch, which is $45 for adults and $20 for children 12 and under, features mimosas, sparkling cider and bottomless champagne. Reservations are required for the brunch which will take place from 10:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.

2. Hornblower Cruises & Events
There will be two Mother's Day cruises sponsored by Hornblower Cruises and Events this Sunday. The first will board at 9 a.m. with a 9:30 a.m. departure time, and the second is scheduled to board at 1:30 p.m. with a 2 p.m. departure time. The buffet brunch will include champagne, non-alcoholic cider and live entertainment. The cost is $69.95 for adults and $41.97 for children 12 years old and younger. Reservations can be made online.

3. The Warehouse Restaurant's Mother's Day Brunch will offer waterside views to compliment its buffet which will include champagne and mimosas. Adult prices are $42.95, and for children 12 and under the cost is $16.95. The restaurant suggests making reservations as soon as possible as they are booking up fast.

4. Tony P's Dockside Grill will be serving a prix-fixed brunch buffet as well starting at 10 a.m. on Sunday. The price is $29.95 for adults, $9.95 for children 12 and under, and $7.95 for children six and under. Advance reservations are required.
