Viewfinder: Adoptable Dogs in Marina del Rey

This week's Viewfinder takes a look into the eyes of the adoptable dogs available through Marina del Rey's Adopt-A-Chow Rescue Group. All of the dogs pictured have been rescued from shelters, the streets or abandonment.

This week's Viewfinder takes a look into the eyes of the adoptable dogs available through Marina del Rey's Adopt-A-Chow Rescue Group.

Adopt-A-Chow primarily rescues Chow chows and Chow-mix dogs from shelters. The Chow chow is one of the oldest types of dog breeds, yet one of the most overbred and misunderstood. Chow chows look like big teddy bears, but their tempermant can be standoffish and guarded, much like a cat.  Chows require a lot of training, but when in a loving home, they are one of the most loving and loyal dog breeds.

The photos are of dogs in need of loving homes. You can find their adoption information by clicking on the link below the photos.  Contact information for Adopt-A-Chow Rescue Group is available at www.adoptachowla.com.
