THIRD ANNUAL DEL REY ART WALK
June 24th, 2012, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
What makes this a unique experience is that it is a Free Self-guided tour of local artists' home/studios.
We have several new artists participating this year at 15 locations throughout the Del Rey Community. Also new this year, we will have 4 music groups playing at different locations, including our own Del Rey Jazz Group, sponsored by the Del Rey Neighborhood Council, Danny Meyer, Musician, Teacher and Producer.
We will also spotlight one home that will show Children's Art. This particular home will be a fundraising event for our local elementary school. Donations will help purchase Art Supplies. This sis sponsored by the Del Rey Resident's Association.
Works that will be displayed and for sale include a variety of media. A MUST SEE is one home that is a piece of Art Work in itself. This magnificent home is totally tiled by one of our Artists.
We call this an Art Walk but you might want to consider driving to the different clusters of homes. Each home will have a list of eateries in the Del Rey Community. Each home will have a list of those Restaurants. MAKE A DAY OF IT WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS.
