Discover Marina del Rey is a free community event that will feature live music, food, drinks, sailboat races and plenty of games for children.
Admission is free to Discover Marina del Rey, which will be held on Oct. 7 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Burton Chace Park, located at 13650 Mindanao Way. A $5 wrist band gives children access to all the inflatable rides.
There will also be an in-water boat show and plenty of marine-related information booths with U.S. Coast Guard, L.A. County Fire Department and lifeguard demonstrations.

Event parking is available for $8 in county lots #77 and #4, located at 13560 and 13500 Mindanao Way, respectively.
