Eco Movie Night Featuring: Visions of Utopia - Experiments in Sustainable Culture

Visions of Utopia: Experiments in Sustainable Culture

This two-part full-length color documentary, completed in February '09, has been more than 11 years in the making. Now you can actually see how representative communities look "up close" while you listen to members tell their stories in their own words.

Part One (94 min) features:

  • A brief history of 2500 years of shared living
  • Insights about what works and what doesn't
  • Exploration of the "glue" that holds communities together
  • Profiles of seven diverse contemporary communities

Part Two (124 min) features

  • Profiles of 10 additional diverse communities

Professional quality, full color. Part One is available in DVD and VHS format; Part Two is available only as a DVD. Produced by the Community Catalyst Project and FIC.
