Star Wars Day: May the Fourth Be With You

Share your memories and love of "Star Wars"

Happy Star Wars Day!

Why is today Star Wars Day? Because of some delightful wordplay: "May the Fourth be with you."

Share your memories of that galaxy far, far away. Did you (or your parents) wait in line for hours to see the original?

Did you and your friends turn broom handles or sticks into lightsabers and have your own epic battles? Or maybe it was using your bikes for landspeeder races.

When you say, "I love you," does your spouse say, "I know?"

If you've ever used Yoda-talk with someone, called your principal "Emperor Palpatine," or referred to a particularly hirsute man as a Wookie, 'fess up here.

Were you a Han girl while your best friend was all about Luke? Perhaps you were more a Lando Calrissian kind of girl. Or are you young enough to wish you were Padme, so you could have Anakin and Obi-wan at your side?

Do you have Star Wars collectibles, like action figures or lunchboxes? Share your photos here!

While we may love Star Wars, we may not necessarily love everything George Lucas has created in that world. Take our poll and let us know which character you wish got nailed with a blaster.
