In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, select Panera Bread stores throughout Southern California will be holding question and answer sessions on breast cancer issues.
Representatives will be on site to share information and encourage customers to contribute to breast cancer charities.
Panera will be baking pink bagels at select stores, and donating proceeds from each bagel sold to a variety of breast cancer nonprofits throughout the country. Last year, Panera raised about $1.3 million for charities.
The closest store for Marina del Rey Patch readers that will be taking part in this event is located on 8647 South Sepulveda Blvd. in Westchester.
The event will be held Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and representatives from the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation will be hosting discussions on breast cancer.
