Marmi, the fabulous shoe store in Marina Waterside, will be hosting a fundraiser for Forte Animal Rescue on Wednesday, April 25, 2012, from 6 to 9 p.m.
Just in time to celebrate Mother’s Day and Her Majesty the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, Marmi will host an evening of cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and shopping. Marmi is the ultimate spot for women’s shoes, as well as other accessories such as handbags and hats. Guests will receive a 10 percent discount on all merchandise, and Marmi will graciously donate 10 percent of all sales during the party to Forte Animal Rescue.
Forte Animal Rescue is an all-volunteer organization, and 100 percent of donations will go directly to animal care. Enjoy an evening of shopping as well as helping a great cause!

A 100 percent no-kill rescue, Forte saves all breeds and mixes, from poodles to pit bulls, with the belief that all animals deserve a chance at life. At any given time, Forte typically has 40 to 50 animals in its care. To date, the organization has saved the lives of more than 900 dogs!
