Murray's Cheese May Open Location in Marina del Rey

The New York City cheese shop has become famous for its dedication to and passion for unique cheeses.

Murray's Cheese, a famous New York City cheese shop, will soon open locations inside Ralph's grocery stories, including a proposed location in Marina del Rey. 

The Los Angeles Times reports that the cheese shop has reached deals with Ralph's parent company Kroger to open 350-450 square foot stores inside existing grocery stores. Inside the Murray's Cheese stores will be a large variety of cheeses from around the world along with charcuterie, james and cheese accessories. 

According to the Murray's Cheese website, the cheese store was initially founded in 1940 in New York City's Greenwich Village. Since then, the shop has become know for its passion for cheese with owners traveling around the globe to bring back cheeses that had never been heard of in the U.S. 

No firm opening date for the Marina del Rey location was announced but the store said it plans to open a location in Long Beach in October.
