Settebello Pizzeria Opens Doors in Marina del Rey

The Marina del Rey location of Settebello Pizzeria opens in the Marina del Rey Marketplace.

Napoletana-style pizza restaurant Settebello Pizzeria opened the doors of its newest location in Marina del Rey last week.

Although originally slated to open in June, the pizzeria officially opened its doors in the Marina del Rey Marketplace on July 9, Eater LA reported.

The restaurant franchise specializes in making pizza "Napoletana" style, which is cooked for one-minute in 1000-degree wood-fired ovens, according to Settebello's website.

"Blackened char spots on the pizza crust is a tell-tale sign of Pizza Napoletana that has been cooked in a blistering hot, wood burning oven," the website states. "Each pizza is an individual work of art."

To make the pizzas, Settebello sources many of its ingredients directly from Napoli including the flour, cheeses and even tomatoes used on the pizzas.

The restaurant franchise has one other location in the Los Angeles area in Pasadena and other locations in Nevada and Utah.
