Light Wind But Big Increase
Ok all you light wind sailors and power boaters (I can say this because I was docked in MDR for 7 years) July 1, 2014 California minimum wage goes up to $9.00 an hour. Let's hope we don't lose any of the great restaurants in the Marina. But by the same token let's hope the wage increase helps out workers who are already working two jobs maybe cleaning above deck, and also doing laundry for a local hotel.
