Additional Marina Marketplace Theater Set to Open in the Fall

Marina del Rey will now have two theaters, one for people over 21 and an all ages one.

Another 6-screen theater that will supplement the existing AMC Dine-in theater is set to open in the fall.

The movie theater will feature plush seating and expanded concession offerings such as pizzas, chicken tenders and mozzarella sticks. The new theater will be a traditional theater, unlike the dine-in theater that serves food and alcohol directly to someone’s seat.

"People looking for exciting 'date night' and 'adults'--night-out' experiences for 21 or older can enjoy the unique venue that only the AMC Dine-In Theatre can provide, while those customers who have requested a family-friendly option will be pleased with the new six-screen theatre opening this fall.  We want our customers to know that we listen to their feedback and have worked closely with AMC to meet the community's needs with this new addition," said Kathy Obenhuber, property manager of Marina Marketplace.
