Cloudy Skies, Boston Runners and Knabe's Budget Tool

The National Weather Service says its going to be cloudy and drizzly over the next few days.

Today is April 19. It is the 109th day of the year. We are under a waning gibbous moon. Sunset will occur about 7:29 p.m. Here are five things to know:

1. The National Weather Service forecast for this afternoon calls for cloudy skies with a high near 62 degrees with mostly cloudy skies tonight and a low around 56 degrees. It should be cloudy Wednesday morning and then gradually become mostly sunny with a high near 61 degrees. There's a chance of drizzle late Wednesday night and early Thursday.

2. Congratlations to the local runners who completed the Boston Marathon. You can check out who finished the grueling 26.2-mile course right here.

3. Playa del Rey resident Phil Jackson and the two-time defending champion Los Angeles Lakers are getting ready for their second playoff game against the New Orleans Hornets after dropping the first game Sunday at Staples Center. The Lakers host the Hornets on Wednesday with a 7:30 p.m. tipoff.

4. Los Angeles County Supervisor Don Knabe has announced a "You Draft the County Budget" tool on his website that helps residents understand the scope of the county's budget of more than $23 billion. Knabe also will be hosting an online town hall meeting Thursday at 2:30 p.m. to update constituents on recent county activities and to discuss the budget.
