Gas Prices: Some Relief for Motorists

Gas prices still well above $4. Are prices changing your driving habits?

Average gas prices in Los Angeles County edged slightly downward on Sunday, ending a 30-day streak of increases that brought the price up 57.3 cents over four months, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

In Marina del Rey, the lowest price for regular gasoline as of Sunday was $4.23 at United Oil, located at 811 Washington Blvd., according to Gas Buddy.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve unleaded in L.A. County was $4.322, down one-tenth of a cent. At its peak, the price was the highest amount since Oct. 25.
