Heat Advisory Issued For LA Through Thursday

Inland areas could see three-digit temperatures and scattered thunderstorms.

Temperatures are expected to hover near triple digits for the next few days, and rain and thunderstorms are possible, according to an alert from the National Weather Service.

Highs at the beaches will reach the mid-80s and the valleys and foothills could see temperatures as high as 107.

The National Weather Service is advising residents to stay hydrated, be careful during outdoor activities at the hottest times of the day, and never lock pets or people in parked cars, even if the windows are open.
