Update: Power Restored to About a Thousand Residents
The Department of Public Works reported several outages earlier today.
Update: 9:30 p.m.
Power has been restored to all homes in Del Rey and Playa Del Rey, according to the Department of Water and Power.

Update: 5:30 p.m.
The number of residents without power has again increased to about 1200. Crews are the scene and repairs should be completed by 11 p.m.

Update: 4:10 p.m.
Power has been restored to Playa del Rey residents and to about 300 Del Rey residents. There are still about 900 homes without power.

About 1200 customers in Del Rey have lost power due to the storm, according to the Department of Water and Power.
DWP has dispatched service workers and expects to restore power by 11 p.m. tonight.
Additionally, about 10 customers are currently without power in Playa del Rey, and electricity should be restored there by 6 p.m.
