Public Meeting to Discuss Admiralty Way Project

The work is expected to last until early December.

Los Angeles Public Works Department managers will conduct a public meeting on Tuesday to update residents on the Admiralty Way resurfacing project.

The repairs, which started on Sept. 3 and are schedule to last until the beginning of December, will repave the road and reconstruct sidewalks and the median. The project will also restore existing street lights, signs and install a new bus pad on the north side of Admiralty Way. As a result of the ongoing work, crews are closing two lanes at a time on Admiralty Way from Via Regatta to about 800 feet east of Palawan Way, approximately where Killer Shrimp is located.

Lane closure is currently 24-hours a day, but for the last two weeks of the project, when workers will be restoring the median, lanes will only be closed from about 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
