Readers' Choice: Best Day Care

Safety comes first, but dedicated teachers, a clean and bright environment and other factors count, too.

Any parent of a baby knows that dropping off their loved one at day care for the first time is a nerve-wracking experience. Will he take a nap? Will she eat? Will he be safe?

If you do find the place your child seems to like and you think is good, you never ever want to leave it, even if it’s costing half your salary or more. Sometimes, you can identify that place simply by the length of the waiting list.

Patch readers and local parents want to know which day care should get the title of Patch’s Readers’ Choice Best Day Care in the comments section below.

Thanks in advance for your participation.

I'm so glad you added that comment, and that I read the comments (since the headline says it hasRead More opened). I was all excited to walk up and try it tonight, which would have been a bummer. Looking forward to trying it.
