Sunny Afternoon, Lagoon Photos and Bareboat Chartering

The National Weather Service says there's a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms late tonight and tomorrow morning.

Today is Sept. 30. It is the 273rd day of the year. We are under a waxing crescent moon. Sunset will occur about 6:41 p.m. Here are five things to know:

1. The National Weather Service forecast for this afternoon calls for mostly sunny skies with a high near 69 degrees with a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 11 p.m. and an overnight low near 61 degrees. Forecasters say there's a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms Saturday morning and also expect patchy fog. Otherwise, it should be mostly clear in the afternoon with a high near 70 degrees.

3. In case you missed it, eight of the 11 federal defendants who were arrested earlier this summer in a fireareams trafficking bust by the ATF have pleaded guilty to federal weapons charges.
