3. Dr. Grant Stevens recently celebrated the 25th anniversary of Marina Plastic Surgery in Marina del Rey with a well-attended "Girls Night Out" party. For details, go right here.

4. Heads-up if you're thinking about driving along Venice Boulevard on Sunday, it's going to be a mess. The 27th annual Abbot Kinney Festival is going on and thousands of cyclists will be cruising down Venice Boulevard as part of the Los Angeles Triathlon. You've been duly warned. Details right here.

5. Patch is looking for bloggers. We recently rolled out a new blogging platform and are looking for local bloggers to write about whatever they want, whenever they want. If you're interested or want to learn more, send me an email: Paul.Chavez@patch.com.
