Sunny Afternoons, Mayor's Town Hall and Fish Tacos

Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa meets with Westside constituents during a town hall meeting that featured questions and answers.

Today is Sept. 13. It is the 256th day of the year. We are under a waning gibbous moon. Sunset will occur about 7:05 p.m. Here are five things to know:

1. The National Weather Service forecast for this afternoon calls for sunny skies with a high near 74 degrees with patchy fog after 11 p.m. and an overnight low around 60 degrees. Forecasters expect patchy fog Wednesday morning that will gradually clear to sunny with an afternoon high near 74 degrees.

2. Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa met with Westside residents last night at a town halll meeting. The mayor fielded questions that ranged from taxes to traffic to trees. Details right here.

3. Like lattes? Today's your lucky day. Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is offering up $1 lattes this afternoon to promote their fall lattes. Details right here.

4. How about fish tacos? There's a new Wahoo's Fish Tacos at 4716 So. Lincoln Blvd, Unit C, that just opened up.

“Bringing Wahoo’s into the Marina Del Rey area is an exciting move,” said Wing Lam, co-founder of Wahoo’s, in a statement. “We are stoked to be working together to bring the Wahoo’s experience of tasty, yet affordable food to the residents of Marina Del Rey.”

Wahoo's Fish Taco started in 1988 and the chain now has more than 50 stores throughout California, Colorado, Texas and Hawaii.
