The National Weather Service says it will be sunny all week with highs in the 60s except for patchy fog in the morning.

Today is June 27. It is the 178th day of the year. We are under a waning crescent moon. Sunset will occur about 8:10 p.m. Here are five things to know:

1. The National Weather Service forecast for this afternoon calls for sunny skies with a high near 68 degrees with patchy fog after 11 p.m. and an overnight low around 62 degrees. 2. Los Angeles City Councilman Bill Rosendahl, whose 11th Council District includes Playa del Rey and Del Rey, is hosting a town hall meeting tonight on the proposed downtown football stadium. Tim Leiweke, president and chief executive officer of AEG, will attend the meeting. There will be a brief presentation and questions and answers from people selected by each of the neighborhood councils in Rosendahl's district. The public is welcome to attend and can ask questions if time permits. The meeting is from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Mar Vista Recreation Center, 11430 Woodbine St. in Mar Vista.

3. It was an artistic weekend with the second Del Rey Art Walk taking place over the weekend and The Happening Gallery opening a new show that also included a charity fundraiser. Details here and here.
