Swimming with Dolphins from Marina del Rey to Catalina

Local man films pods of dolphins with underwater camera.

Michael Kantor of Venice recorded dolphins swimming from Marina del Rey to Catalina on a sailing trip he took in early September.

"They're so smart, and they have their own language and there's something about them," Kantor said in a KTLA interview. "They're just fast. They're strong. They always look like they're smiling. I don't know what that is," he added.

Kantor attached a waterproof camera to a broomstick to record the dolphins.

I'm so glad you added that comment, and that I read the comments (since the headline says it hasRead More opened). I was all excited to walk up and try it tonight, which would have been a bummer. Looking forward to trying it.
