CVS Won't Sell Controversial Rolling Stone Issue: Dzhokar Tsarnaev, the suspected bomber of the Boston Marathon, adorned the cover of Rolling Stone this month, causing CVS and other outlets to announce that it wouldn't put the issue on its shelves. The announcement was made on the company's Facebook page.

Malibu Mom Asks for Help Finding Her Son: Paulet Ferket on Wednesday publicly sought the public's aid in finding 34-year-old Jason Bennett, a Silver Lake man who suffering from a medical condition. Ferket told Patch that Bennett's Jeep was found in Yosemite under "very strange" conditions."

Samo Pedicabs Have Arrived: L.A. Bike Taxi started offering rides on their human-powered rickshaws earlier this week. It's the first such business to be licensed under Santa Monica's new guidelines for pedicabs. They're currently scouting for the best locations to grab fares.

Police Pursuit Goes from Weho to SaMo: Flashbang grenades and tear gas ended a police pursuit of a man suspected of stealing a sports car. The chase started in West Hollywood, then continued west on Santa Monica Boulevard. The grenades and gas came out at the intersection of Stanford Street and Santa Monica Boulevard, causing the driver to get out of the car.
