A look at the weekend weather, surf conditions and beach health grades to help you plan your weekend.

Los Angeles Weather Report:

Saturday will see mostly sunny skies with highs in the lower 60s and lows in the upper 50s. Winds will remain steady at around 5-15 mph.

Sunday brings a 20-percent chance of rain showers in the afternoon, mostly after 11 a.m. Otherwise, it will be partly sunny with highs in the upper 60s and lows in the upper 50s, according to the National Weather Service.

Los Angeles County Surf Report:

Small surf this weekend with the average surf height ranging from 1-3 feet with little change throughout the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

Los Angeles County Beach Grades:

The attached map is a water quality report for beaches in dry weather from April 3 to May 3 compiled from data courtesy of Heal the Bay, a nonprofit environmental group. Beach grades are based on an A+ to F scale. Grades indicate the likelihood of swimmers becoming ill. Water samples are analyzed for bacteria – enterococcus, total and fecal coliforms. The report does not measure the amount of trash or toxins found at local beaches.

Dark Blue Marker = A+

Light Blue Marker = A

Green Marker = B

Yellow Marker = C

Pink = D

Red Marker = F

Purple Marker = No sample taken
