Saturday will be mostly sunny with a high of 75 degrees and a low of 55. Sunday will also be mostly sunny with a high of 77 and a low of 51. Winds are expected to be in the 5-10 mph range on both Saturday and Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.

Los Angeles County surf report:

A small mix of west-northwest and southwest swell is hitting the area and sets are expected to be in the 2-3 foot range on both Saturday and Sunday, with some spots seeing shoulder high waves. However, water quality is compromised, because of the recent rain. The Los Angeles County Department of Health recommends no water contact 72 hours after a storm.

The attached map is a water quality report for beaches in wet weather from Feb. 12 to March 12 compiled from data courtesy of Heal the Bay, a nonprofit environmental group. Beach grades are based on an A+ to F scale. Grades indicate the likelihood of swimmers becoming ill. Water samples are analyzed for bacteria – enterococcus, total and fecal coliforms. The report does not measure the amount of trash or toxins found at local beaches.
