WHAT: CAFE del REY welcomes Heaven Hills Distilleries and its selection of celebrated bourbons to Marina del Rey’s most iconic waterfront dining destination for “’Shine by the Sea,” a special pairing dinner on Thursday, February 7, 2013. Executive Chef Daniel Roberts has created a four-course seasonal menu designed to highlight the savory subtleties enhanced by this caramel-sweet spirit, with dishes accompanied by both a specialty, hand-crafted cocktail and a neat pour of each pairing with every course. Heaven Hill Distillery Los Angeles Manager Andie Brokaw will be present to lead the tastings of the four bourbon brands, providing an introduction to each spirit at the on-set of the course and will be available to answer questions about the Distillery, its history as the largest supplier of distilled spirits and the holder of the second largest inventory of aging American Whiskey in the world, and the brands themselves.
