Girl Scout Troops of Westchester Del Rey and Sport Chalet, in the Marina Marketplace, are teaming-up together to make your holidays a bit easier by offering Gift Wrapping Services for donations. From Saturday Dec. 15 thru Monday Dec. 24 various Junior, Cadette, Senior and Ambassador Troops (girls in the 5th to 12th grades) will wrap customers gifts for donations. The donations will be used to finance troops' travel, equipment purchases and community service projects.
Located at the lower level entrance of Sport Chalet, this is the 10th year the sorting goods store and the neighborhood Girl Scouts have joined together to offer customer this time saving and festive service. Sport Chalet provides boxes, tissue, wrapping paper and bows while the Girl Scout troops provide the know-how and the TLC in wrapping gifts.
