Putting Images on Wet Clay; A Hands-on Demonstration with Ceramic Artist Rebecca Catterall

Join us for a demonstration/workshop with Topanga,
California-based ceramic artist, studio owner and teacher Rebecca Catterall,
whose work has been exhibited at the American Museum of Ceramic Art, Topanga
Canyon Gallery, and the John Natsoulas Gallery.

“This workshop is meant to
inspire you,” says Rebecca.  “It should
answer some questions, show some of my secrets, and maybe give you an ‘Ah-ha’
moment where you say ‘So that’s how it’s done!’”

The workshop will introduce
several techniques for putting images on clay, including:  iron oxide printer transfer, photo transfer
paper, silk screen directly to clay, silk screen to tissue paper transferred to
clay (suitable for curved objects), stencils/stamps, and photo lithography
image transfer.

refreshments)
