Shore Fishing Class - FREE

Come enjoy a beautiful morning of fishing from the shores of Dockweiler Beach. The Department of Beaches and Harbors is offering a free introductory class in shore fishing. Fishing poles and bait will also be provided at no cost. Anglers typically catch surfperch, croaker, corbina, halibut and leopard shark.

All ages are welcome. Anyone under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. This class is free to the public. Parking is $2.

* Anyone over the age of 16 must present a valid CA Fishing License to participate. Fishing Licenses can be purchased locally at:
