Marina del Rey Film Festival Highlights Independent Movie Makers

Did you see any of the films? What did you think?

The Marina del Rey Film Festival was held from Sept. 7-9, an event for independent film makers to showcase their work.

Over a dozen films were shown of all genres from all over the world.

Some of the movies were:

Chicago Farmer: A preview of the upcoming documentary about modern folk musician Cody Diekhoff, better known as Chicago Farmer. It is directed, edited, and produced by Cory Poplin.

The Strong One: A story that follows a young boy as his imagination takes him on adventures with his best friend, a brontosaurus, and begins to help him deal with the struggles of growing up.

Hinnon Valley: A deadly viral outbreak takes over the small secluded city of Hinnon Valley. A woman and a young girl have to team together to survive the cities flesh eating inhabitants and the malicious military presence that lurks around every corner.
