A 27-year-old man was stabbed in the arm and abdomen by someone in a group of assailants in Del Rey, police said today.
The victim, whose name police withheld, was stabbed about 11:50 p.m. near the intersection of Centinela Avenue and Braddock Drive, said Los Angeles police Sgt. Richard Parks of the Pacific Station.
He was taken to a hospital with stable vital signs, Parks said. The victim was walking with another person when a group young adults and juveniles approached and asked where they were from, he said. Typically, that means what gang.
A fight broke out, and the man was stabbed, Parks said. Police were questioning two people in the attack, he said.
