Powerboat lodges itself 8 feet up the Marina del Rey breakwater Wednesday.

Six people were rescued by the Los Angeles County Fire Department Lifeguard Division Wednesday evening after a boat crashed into the breakwater in Marina del Rey, lifeguards announced Thursday.

According to a post on the Lifeguard Division's Facebook page, Baywatch Del Rey responded to the scene after a 20-foot powerboat crashed and became lodged eight feet up the breakwater at the entrance to the marina.

No injuries were suffered by the six occupants of the boat.

According to the Facebook post, Lifeguards said it was a "miracle" that nobody was injured in the crash.
