Boater, 2 Sons Rescued near Marina del Rey

The U.S. Coast Guard today rescued a boater and his two sons, culminating a search that began when they failed to return to Marina del Rey overnight.

After an air and sea search, the 18-foot skiff was found about 9 a.m., and was brought to port in Marina del Rey, the U.S. Coast Guard reported. The three occupants were uninjured.
