Crime Report: Burglaries on the Rise

Statistics on violent and property crime provided by the Sheriff's Department.

Burglaries soared in unincorporated Marina del Rey from February to March, according to statistics released by the the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Aggravated assaults declined in the same time period, while other crimes remained about the same.

The list below is a summary of crime statistics for the last two months. Please note these statistics only reflect those crimes reported to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Marina del Rey station, which covers the harbor, the land immediately surrounding the harbor and a small island of territory about one mile inland.

Last night I heard a radio spot for one of the precious metal buyers actually telling people to bring in their silver cutlery and table ware for "top prices." This was the first thing I thought of. Back in the late 70's when silver prices spiked, home break ins also spiked.

Thank Glenn E. Grab for taking the time to send an answer. I agree with you, it would be blue IRead More think. I would like to hear from someone who has the same problem, there are hundreds of boats with this spray. Now having said this, we have now come up with a more rational reason. It's the pollen, not bee pollen, but tree pollen. Makes sense as it does only happen once a year. Searching for answers, this makes a little better sense.
