Shelter and Bus Help Available for Stranded LAX Passengers

Travelers in transit and stranded by the airport closure, and who need housing for the night, are asked by LAX officials to call the Discover Los Angeles reservations line, (888) 831-7176. Agents will help travelers find a hotel room near the airport.

Discover Los Angeles is run by the Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board.

The American Red Cross has opened a shelter at the Westchester Recreation Center, 7000 W. Manchester Ave.

The MTA will supply buses to deliver passengers from the streets around LAX to hotels in the Westchester area.
