LAPD Seeks Help in Returning Bikes

A suspect is arrested in Del Rey with a women's 18-speed bike and a men's beach cruiser that are thought to have been stolen.

A man was arrested in the Del Rey area with two bicycles believed to have been stolen, and police Tuesday asked the public's help in locating the owner of the bikes.

The alleged bicycle thief, whose identity was not released, was arrested Monday at the corner of Lincoln Boulevard and Mindanao Way and had a women's silver and purple Huffy "Stone Mountain" 18-speed bike and a men's black Firmstrong Urban beach cruiser with a basket, according to a statement from the Los Angeles Police Department.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Pacific Division burglary detectives at 310-482-6333.
