Missing Retiree

An 85-year-old woman was reported missing after she failed to return from a visit Jan. 12 with her sister who suffers from Alzheimer's disease, according to a sheriff deputy's report.

The missing woman's husband said his wife visits her sister twice a week in Carson and was last seen about 4:45 p.m. by her nephew. The woman was last seen driving a 2000 Chrysler Concord.

The case was assigned to the sheriff's homicide bureau, which investigates missing person reports.

Schizophrenic Missing

A 57-year-old man who suffers from bipolar disorder and schizophrenia was reported last seen Jan. 13 by his sister, according to a deputy's report.

The man left his home to do some work at a neighbor's house, but the neighbor turned him away because no work was needed.

A deputy's report said the man takes Lipitor, Zyprexa, Valproic, Benazepril, Amlodipine and Leuothyroxine. He takes his medication twice a day.

The man also was reported missing 10 years ago.

The case was assigned to the homicide bureau for investigation.

Young Woman Missing

A young woman was reported missing after she failed to return home Jan. 12, according to a sheriff deputy's report.

The woman had a one-inch tattoo of a cross, a crown tattoo on her left hip and a tattoo of orange and yellow flowers on her left foot. She was last seen driving a white 2003 Saturn Ion.

The woman had a good relationship with her mother and father and the family couldn't find her through her friends, the report said.

Her parents gave authorities permission to access her dental records.

The case was assigned to the homicie bureau for investigation.
