Two men in a parked car were shot and wounded in the Del Rey area of Los Angeles on Tuesday, police said.
The shooting occurred in the 11600 block of Braddock Drive around 2:45 a.m., said Sgt. Brian Gura of the Los Angeles Police Department's Pacific Station.
One victim suffered a single gunshot wound to the chest and the other was struck twice in the chest, he said.
Both victims were conscious and breathing when paramedics arrived to take them to a hospital and one of them was able to walk into an ambulance, Gura said. The two men's names and ages were not immediately released.
Police were trying this morning to determine what led up to the shooting, and no suspect description was immediately available, Gura said.
