Del Rey Residents Cast Their Votes

Patch caught up with Del Rey residents today after they voted.

Thousands of Del Rey residents are heading to the polls on Tuesday. Patch caught up with a few of them at Short Avenue Elementary School to ask how they feel about this particular election.

Priorities varied among the Del Rey residents Patch spoke to. While some believed that Proposition 30, that would impose a tax to fund education, was necessary to maintain an adequate school system, others felt taxpayers are burden enough as it is, and that additional taxes are not the solution.

Read Patch's guide to the election for more info on L.A. County elections, state propositions and candidates.

Patch will also be announcing and updating elections results Tuesday evening.

I'm so glad you added that comment, and that I read the comments (since the headline says it hasRead More opened). I was all excited to walk up and try it tonight, which would have been a bummer. Looking forward to trying it.
