Westside Mobility Plan November Community Open House

To continue to keep the communities informed of the project, the City and LADOT are hosting four public meetings for the Westside Mobility Plan project in November, which would create a multimodal transportation blueprint, including parking solutions, for the Westside.

The meetings will provide the communities in the Westside an opportunity to learn more about the Westside Mobility Plan and provide follow up to the Westside Mobility and Rail Connectivity Study meetings conducted in June, which looked at potential transportation improvements and programs to enhance system capacity, reduce vehicle trips and miles traveled and improve rail and transit connectivity.  Our project team has lots of ideas on how to improve commuting on the Westside, but we are interested in hearing more of the community members’ ideas on improving circulation, parking and ways to get people moving quickly through the Westside.  Four identical community open house meetings will be held to obtain community input on the project.

For more event information, please visit the project website at http://www.westsidemobilityplan.com and http://www.facebook.com/pages/Westside-Mobility-Plan/152239408147931?ref=ts.
