New Sheriff's Website Launches for Marina del Rey

The new website offers easier access to local law enforcement.

A website designed to improve access to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's
Department's
Marina del Rey station is now up and running as of today.

The website, which can be found at MarinaDelRey.lasd.org, offers crime tips, recent crime-related stories and links to the Marina del Rey Neighborhood Watch program and other community programs.

Lieutenant Reginald Gautt, the operations lieutenant for the Marina del Rey station, said the new website should definitely help local residents feel more connected to the station.

“It will give them insight into what we’re doing, and they’ll be more informed,” Gautt said. "They can stay in contact with what's going on within the station's jurisdiction."

The site can also be translated into more than 40 languages. In addition to Marina del Rey, the site provides information for other areas the station covers, including View Park, Ladera Heights, Santa Monica Bay and Windsor Hills.

I'm so glad you added that comment, and that I read the comments (since the headline says it hasRead More opened). I was all excited to walk up and try it tonight, which would have been a bummer. Looking forward to trying it.
