What Would You Ask 62nd Assembly Candidates?

What would you like Patch to ask the candidates running for the 62nd Assembly District seat, which includes parts of Mar Vista as well as Venice, Marina del Rey and Playa del Rey.

Patch will be querying the candidates vying for the 62nd Assembly District as the June 5 primary election campaigns shift into high gear.

The candidates and their official ballot designation are:

  • Steven Bradford: Democrat / Los Angeles / Assemblymember
  • Mervin Evans: Democrat /Los Angeles / Author and consultant

Assemblyman Bradford is the incumbent in the 62nd Assembly District.

We'll be gathering biographical information and presenting the candidates with a questionnaire to help voters understand where they stand on the issues.

As of Apr. 6, 2012, there were 222,378 registered voters in the 62nd Assembly District with 61 percent registered as Democrats and 15 percent registered as Republicans.

We're asking for your help. What questions do you want us to ask the candidates?
