Marina del Rey's Priciest Homes: 925 Howard Street

This week's priciest home on the market in the Marina Del Rey area is a $2.575 million designer home at 925 Howard Street on the border of Marina del Rey and Venice.

This three-bedroom, three-bathroom home features 2,600 square feet of living space located in the "Golden Triangle" of Los Angeles, according to its listing on Zillow

The home, originally built in 1948, has been extensively remodeled with a modern design. Features of the house include a center courtyard designed to keep the house cool in the warmer months. Poured concrete floors keep the home warm in the winter months. In addition, the home's exterior is covered with metal galvelum panels that comprised of 80 percent recycled content.

For those that prefer the outdoors, this home features a large rooftop deck with views of the surrounding area. The home is also a short distance from Abbot Kinney, restaurants and the LAX airport.

The house has been on the market since Aug. 12. The home last sold in 2009 for $1.2 million.
